Brush Up Your Shakespeare!!!!
October 8, 2008 by slesscience
Since October is “Poetry Month”, it just seems natural that we would be starting our Shakespeare Unit in both 7th and 8th grade.
7th Grade:
You have been issued ROMEO AND JULIET. We will begin reading it after Outdoor School. The first thing that we discuss is the man, Shakespeare and the Elizabethan Age.
8th Grade:
You will be issued your TWELFTH NIGHT this week. We will begin with discussions of Shakespeare and his world as well as theater as he knew it.
We are also looking at poetry of all kinds, sizes, and shapes and celebrating that genre in literature.

Are we doing declamation? when is it
Hi Mrs. Grimes,
When exactly are we going to start Twelfth Night? By the way, I really like your blog!

Mrs. Grimes,
I think the clock or something is wrong on your blog because I posted that last comment at 8:30pm not at 6:30pm.
